This year Russia is on the first place in the number of economic crimes according to a study by PricewaterhouseCoopers. 71% Russian companies have suffered from economic crimes, while the world's average is 30%. The smallest number of crimes is in Japan (9,6%).

Russia has got the 71th place in the Human Development Index of 2009, published by the UN. Finland is at the 12th and the USA on the 13th places. The top ten places have been given to following countries: 1. Norway, 2. Australia, 3. Iceland, 4. Canada, 5. Ireland, 6. Netherlands, 7. Sweden, 8. France, 9. Switzerland, 10. Japan.
